The journal that understands Tradovate and its prop firms
Import your Tradovate trades over API in 30 seconds — Pipveu never stores your credentials. Automatic detection of Apex, Topstep, MFFU and TakeProfitTrader accounts, real-time metrics and a prop firm tracker that knows the rules.
Why Pipveu for Tradovate?
Tradovate has become the default broker for futures prop firms: Apex, Topstep, MyFundedFutures, TakeProfitTrader, EliteTraderFunding and TradeDay all run on its cloud infrastructure. The good part: your data lives inside their API. The bad part: Tradovate was never built as a journal — its native reports are basic and have no concept of prop firm rules. Pipveu connects to the Tradovate API, pulls your fill history and builds a full journal on top. The sync is manual and on-demand: you enter your credentials, we download your trades, and we never store them on our servers.

From Settings → Tradovate sync, enter your Tradovate username, password and app key. Pipveu authenticates once, downloads your fills and discards the credentials when done.

Pipveu groups fills into trades, detects your prop firm accounts by ID and computes trailing MDD, profit target, win rate and 15+ more metrics. Re-sync any time from the same button.
Everything Pipveu does with your Tradovate data
Official API sync
We use Tradovate's REST API to download your fills, contracts and positions. No scraping, no extensions, no waiting for an end-of-day export.
Zero credential storage
Your username, password and app key are used in memory during the sync and discarded when it finishes. Pipveu never persists Tradovate credentials in its database.
Automatic detection of Apex, Topstep and MFFU accounts
We recognize Apex (APEX-xxxx, PA-APEX-xxxx), Topstep (TST-xxxx, TCP-xxxx), MyFundedFutures (MFF-xxxx) and TakeProfitTrader account IDs. Each one gets its own prop firm panel.
Fill-to-trade aggregation
Tradovate stores fills, not trades. Pipveu pairs them into long/short positions with entry, exit, R-multiple, MFE and MAE. Ready to review without touching Excel.
Prop firm tracker with up-to-date rules
For Apex, Topstep, MFFU and TakeProfitTrader accounts we show trailing MDD, daily loss limit, profit target, contract limits and consistency, recalculated after every sync.
Dashboard with 15+ advanced metrics
Equity curve, win rate, profit factor, max drawdown, Sharpe, Sortino, ROMAD, MFE, MAE, exit efficiency, rolling stats, P/L by hour and by symbol. All computed from your Tradovate fills.
Tradovate-specific use cases
Prop firm trader with multiple Tradovate accounts
If you run Apex + Topstep + MFFU from the same Tradovate session, Pipveu detects them all in a single sync and shows the status of each evaluation or PA in one dashboard.
Pure Tradovate trader without NinjaTrader
Many traders skip NinjaTrader and trade straight from Tradovate web or mobile. Pipveu gives you the same level of analysis without forcing a desktop install.
Session review on micro accounts
If you scalp MES or MNQ intraday, fills pile up fast. Pipveu groups them and gives you P/L by symbol, by hour and by day-of-week — patterns Tradovate's native panel never surfaces.
Tradovate and Pipveu FAQ
Does Pipveu store my Tradovate credentials?
No. Your username, password and app key are used in memory during the sync and discarded immediately afterwards. Each refresh is a new sync where you re-enter the credentials.
Does the sync work with prop firm accounts on Tradovate?
Yes. If your prop firm allows Tradovate API access (Apex, Topstep, MFFU, TakeProfitTrader, EliteTraderFunding and TradeDay all do), your fills download just like a live account. Pipveu detects them automatically.
Do I need a special app key?
Yes — Tradovate requires an app key tied to your account to authenticate API calls. We walk you through generating one from your Tradovate portal in under 2 minutes.
How often does it sync?
Tradovate sync is manual: you trigger it whenever you want. That's how we avoid storing credentials and keep your account safe. Most users sync at the end of the session or end of day.
Can I combine Tradovate with NinjaTrader or Rithmic CSVs?
Yes. Pipveu accepts native NinjaTrader sync, Tradovate API sync and CSV import from Rithmic, Sierra Chart, ATAS and NinjaTrader. All sources feed the same dashboard with no duplicates.
