Why Pipveu for Sierra Chart?
Sierra Chart is the platform chosen by professional traders who value stability, fine-grained DOM control and native C++ logic. Its Trade Activity Log is one of the cleanest records in the industry, but analyzing it in depth requires Excel, custom scripts or an external journal. Pipveu imports your exported Trade Activity Log in tabular format, groups fills into trades, detects your prop firm accounts and delivers a dashboard ready for review without you ever opening a spreadsheet.

Export your Trade Activity Log
In Sierra Chart go to Trade → Trade Activity Log, set the date range, filter by Fills and use File → Save Log As to save the file. Keep the standard columns (symbol, quantity, price, time) so the adapter can recognize them.
Upload the file to Pipveu
From Settings → Import broker, select Sierra Chart and upload the file. Pipveu groups fills, detects your accounts and builds your dashboard with trailing MDD, profit target and 15+ metrics.
Everything Pipveu does with your Sierra Chart data
Native Trade Activity Log parser
We support the tab-separated format that Sierra Chart generates with Save Log As — no need to convert to CSV or reformat columns. Upload the file and we process it.
Compatible with Rithmic, Teton and CQG
It doesn't matter which datafeed or broker you have connected to Sierra Chart: AMP Futures, Stage 5, Optimus or Edge Clear over Rithmic, Teton or CQG. Pipveu identifies account IDs and classifies them.
Automatic prop account detection
We recognize patterns like APEX-xxxx, PA-APEX-xxxx, LTE-xxxx, LFE-xxxx, TST-xxxx and others. Each prop firm account opens its own panel with up-to-date MDD, DLL and profit target.
Fill grouping into trades
Sierra Chart delivers atomic fills. Pipveu pairs them into long/short trades with entry, exit, R-multiple, MFE, MAE and duration. Ready to review without Excel.
Incremental re-import without duplicates
Every time you upload a new Trade Activity Log with more recent dates, Pipveu identifies new trades by order ID and adds them without duplicating anything.
Dashboard with 15+ advanced metrics
Equity curve, win rate, profit factor, max drawdown, Sharpe, Sortino, ROMAD, MFE, MAE, exit efficiency, rolling stats, P/L by symbol, by hour and by day. All from your real fills.
Sierra Chart specific use cases
Professional trader on AMP Futures or Stage 5
If you trade live on AMP Futures, Stage 5 or Edge Clear from Sierra Chart, Pipveu gives you serious analytics without forcing you to migrate platforms. Keep your setup, add a dashboard.
Prop firm evaluations on Sierra Chart
Sierra Chart connects with Rithmic, which opens the door to Apex, Lucid, Topstep and other prop firms. Pipveu detects your APEX, PA-APEX, LTE and LFE accounts and shows your evaluation or PA progress.
Session review by symbol and hour
Filter by day, week or month and review P/L by symbol, by hour and by day of the week. Identify when you're most profitable and where you're leaving money on the table.
Sierra Chart and Pipveu FAQ
Does Pipveu have native integration with Sierra Chart?
We import your exported Trade Activity Log. Sierra Chart doesn't expose a public API for third parties, so the standard flow is Save Log As and upload the file. It's manual but fast and robust.
Which format should I export?
Use File → Save Log As (not the Export option, which writes raw prices that don't match the visible log). The tab-separated format is what Pipveu recognizes.
Does it work with Apex or Lucid prop firm accounts?
Yes. If your prop firm gives you Sierra Chart access via Rithmic, just export the account's Trade Activity Log. Pipveu detects Apex (APEX-xxxx) and Lucid (LTE-xxxx, LFE-xxxx) IDs automatically.
How often should I upload the file?
We recommend at the close of each session or end of day. Pipveu only adds new trades by order ID, so re-uploading a wider log will never duplicate data.
Can I combine Sierra Chart with NinjaTrader or Tradovate?
Yes. Pipveu accepts native NinjaTrader sync, Tradovate API and CSV from Sierra Chart, Rithmic, ATAS and NinjaTrader in parallel. All sources feed the same dashboard.
